Excellent prices and reasonably acceptable delivery times. However, it was only when I had paid for the order that I was informed that the delivery of mega heavy and awkward items would be kerbside only, that I would need to find someone strong and healthy to help both the delivery driver and me, and getting the items into my house was my problem. A pallet with extremely heavy shower base, shower doors etc was left on my driveway. I am 66 and not in the best of health. My son helped me and he has had 2 craniotomies for a brain tumour. Had I known the ludicrous assumption that every purchaser has a couple of big strong men available, I would have shopped elsewhere. I appreciate delivery drivers aren't insured or trained and Rubberduck is not alone in this. So why the hell can't they provide their own trained drivers to get the items inside the purchasers house, if needed? Charge an extra £30 or whatever and take the stress, worry and physical pain out of it for those of us who need it?
