The pre-sales team were very helpful when I contacted them about the piano I planned to purchase and my special delivery requirements. The piano was dispatched quickly to their courier service (TNT). I had emailed weeks in advance to ensure delivery would in fact be next day as I wouldn’t manage the piano upstairs and would have to pay for folks to help with it. The next day, no piano and no update to let me know. £100 out of pocket to cover the costs of the help. I contacted TNT with not much luck. I also contacted Rimmers who contacted TNT on my behalf and advised me the piano would be delivered in the Monday. This left me in a bad situation as I didn’t have help booked for Monday. Another £100 to cover the costs of help to bring the box upstairs. Towards the end of the working day, the piano arrived. The boys found it easy to assemble and it looks, feels and sounds great. I’m really happy with it but disappointed with the shipping as it left me £100 down for no fault of my own. Especially having contacted weeks in advance and provided my address and detailed I’d need help. If delivery was on time, I’d have rated this 5*. After looking at the reviews TNT receive, I should have considered going elsewhere with a different courier service available. Rimmers we’re very polite and quick to reply but I’m still £100 out of pocket from the experience.
