I spent a lot of money with this company but it did not make a shred of difference with their customer service. Having spent a lot of money on a new stainless steel exhaust for a TR3a, when it arrived it was noted that the original starter motor would not refit due to the different manifold. Hence I had to purchase a new starter motor. The supplied exhaust did not fit and had to be bent to shape, a further unforeseen cost. You would think that the company would possess this knowledge. Having bought the new starter motor it took over a week to arrive despite promises of next day delivery. Attempts to contact their customer service department were without success. Either the phone was answered and hung up straight away, or calls went unanswered. Promises of responses to calls, e mails never materialised and I had to chase constantly. Considering a spend with Rimmer of nearly £4000, for all the mis fitting, late parts and inconvenience I was offered a £50 gift voucher which I thought was an insult. Having an old car means that parts will always be required, however I shall not be using this company in the future.
