My son bought me a 2 night european stay voucher for £199.
i have been trying to use this for over a year but it is impossible to find any hotels where you do not have to pay a substantial amount extra. I have searched for weekdays in winter months and still can find nothing. Most hotels are actually cheaper to book via Booking than using this voucher and paying the extra! One hotel was an extra 148 pounds to pay but it was only £135 for the same room and days via booking? How can this be when £199 has already been paid for the voucher?
