I was gifted a membership and was horrified that the cost of it was revealed in the setting up process. The donor would be rather upset that I now know their gift value. And now I know the cost per month, I can honestly say that it is not worth it - I’d far rather have a book token to the same value that I could use to get some of the newer books that are out. So far the book choices have not been inspiring, and I could have bought two of them in my local supermarket at £5 each. The books do arrive beautifully wrapped, along with a naff and unnecessary card bookmark.
