The purchase of cover was quick and easy. Thankfully I’ve so far not had to call QDOS out. I feel a bit uneasy re how the system would work should I need to though, having been with Britannia for about 20 years where I didn’t need to pay any money upfront and then claim it back when I had a call out. Also Britannia supplied a handy card to keep in my purse and window sticker with their call out number on. I would have to rely on finding the number electronically with QDOS. I’ve been meaning to write down their number on a piece of paper and keep it in my glove compartment. Will do it now to spare the anxiety of ‘what would happen if ....? ‘ which crosses my mind when I’m driving quite often. The advantage with QDOS is a much more competitive rate, but with so much small print about what is covered and what isn’t, I’m thinking that it might be worth returning to the certainty and confidence I had with Britannia and pay a bit more for the peace of mind.
