I rang and explained that I was drilling terracotta blocks, so needed a top quality masonry drill bit.
I was told the tungsten coated is your best item, (which is probably true), unfortunately they were not man enough for the job, burning out very quickly, regardless of what speed the drill was set at, I bought 10 so I gave them a good chance.
I should say I am putting in electrical sockets so needed to drill a lot of holes so the bock wouldn’t break out...,
I have found the free set which came with the Makita drill to be far superior ..... shame..
