I am still in shock by the appalling customer service I have received from Proline Skates. I ordered some skate covers for my son's skates (size 5). The set I ordered should cover a skate up to size 5.5. Once received I could not fit them on my son's skates - I tried and tried and I even broke a nail in the process. I rang customer service to see if they could send me a bigger size but that they would also pay for the postage back as the website had advised they would fit a size 5 skate -which it didn't. The customer service agent went to get a skate cover and said he could fit it on a skate that was size 5.5 and pretty much called me a liar. After going round in circles, the customer service agent was not going to pay for the return of the product. After much debating he finally agreed to pay for the return, but on the condition he would deduct £2.90 from my return if he could fit it on a skate. Anyway to cut a long story short, he deducted the £2.90. After also not refunding me for the postage to my house I was only refunded £10 in the end. For such a small amount of money to pay my postage - you would have had a happy customer, and I would have ordered a bigger size. I now have no confidence in ordering from your website again - the customer service agent was very rude and if I ordered something again that was faulty I would be worried that I would not get a refund. Please think twice before ordering with Proline Skates.
