After starting the medication for ADHD my mind has stopped every conversation I ever had running through it with the emotional response to that. My body has relaxed and I have peace. It was hell trying to do my degree with every negative word that has been said replaying at the same time. Little wonder I have autoimmune issues from all that going on in my head, my body dissolved my thyroid. I can hear the birds now and can focus on details.
