Two mildly problematic things that may or may not have been due to Private Finance - I couldn't tell where the problem lay so forgive me if not relevant: (1) I received a letter from the mortgage provider to say my application had been cancelled because they hadn't received some documents in time (alarming, but swiftly rectified!); (2) the fact that my house is a listed building was specifically discussed but was left off the house insurance documentation, until I spotted it and called up to rectify.
