Just spoken to the recipient of the peonies delivered this week. Unfortunately the peonies were in a very 'delicate' state and the foliage was dead. However I cannot blame Post a rose as the weather temperature was so high that it was unlikely that any flowers would survive a journey via the postal service in such exceptional weather.
