I love the range of lamps and shades but it is problematic to purchase if you are in the EU. The lamp and base I purchased were subject to customs VAT. The company despatched the shade in one box and the base in a second box but attached the same invoice to both boxes which arrived as two separate deliveries and customs therefore charged the VAT twice. Pooky did refund me the duplicated VAT as it was their packing error but it was a lot of hassle for me and many emails and phonecalls to both Pooky and DPD customs.
