The installation took around 6hrs. The ground work to put the cable in had already been done. The charger and connection to the consumer unit was all that was needed. Unfortunately the installer had great difficulty and it kept tripping and continuously calls for advice was needed.
Finally, the installer disconnected it from the consumer unit and is connected directly to my electrical supply in the box in front of my house.
My local electrician had a look at the installation and said that it is not correct practice.
