Unfortunately the personalised design came off centre, so I emailed to try and resolve the issue. I was advised in a polite way that essentially it was my fault as it looked like that in the preview. I pointer out the editing options are limited, I added my name and selected the option to center the design and if that's not centred the design, it's the fault of how the website and personalisation works.
I was advised I could return the diary and order the same design again and correcting the centering issue, this would have cost me extra on return postage, plus postage on the reordering as they were only offering credit for the same design, not cost of postage or returns.
I checked the website again and found that there was no way to have any of the text centered on this design, I tried a few different ways and brought this issue back via email again.
The lady I emailed then tried to rectify the design herself and sent me a preview, and while it was an improvement, it still wasn't centred.
I was then offered a 20% refund, which I finally accepted as the back and forth was getting frustrating and clearly they can't rectify the issue with centering text.
Overall I felt like the whole issue was badly dealt with, from essentially telling me I was at fault for it being off centre, to expecting me to pay our for return postage and postage to reorder.
Then being unable to rectify the issue when trying to fix it through their own staff.
Honestly I don't think a 20% refund is all that good when they seem to specialise in personalised items. Had I been able to return the item for free and been offered a full refund I would have taken that option, but it seems ridiculous to pay to return a faulty item.
I won't be using them again.
