Well after a week or so of shopping around we decided to bite the bullet and finally ordered, we bought this for our 3 grandkids although only one is big enough to use it as the other 2 are babies still, our granddaughter was 2 in July just gone and is off average size for her age I'd say, with regards to car size she is just big enough to be able to drive it herself and, wow, she loves it and we love it too, the quality was better than we were expecting tbh, the doors both click shut nicely and even our little girl can open them herself and climb in unassisted, the remote is great as it's just like an xbox controller, peace of mind is given in the fact that there is no switch on the car, unlike others we have seen, where you select the remote or the car as the master, if you press something on the remote it overrides the cars controls so if its heading for a collision you can take over instantly, the finish was perfect with just the edges of the wing mirror stickers to press down, the mirrors actually fold in too manually, there are I think it's 16 different tunes on the stereo preloaded including 4 nursery rhymes, there is no speed selection switch in the car but there are 3 settings via the remote, we got the number plate stickers with the car itself which arrived within 48hrs of ordering, the front plate had to be trimmed slightly to fit though but really does finish the car off, I would defo recommend this toy to anybody based on our experience
