We are generally delighted with the bifold doors with integral blinds recently fitted, but have one major concern. A few weeks ago, a gust of wind blew the pass door shut on my hand, resulting in a visit to A & E where I had to have 20 stiches in my fingers. The door was firmly back against the magnet which is designed to keep the door back in place. Since that incident, we have, of course been very careful with the door, but despite being on the magnet, it has been blown shut several times. One of the selling points of the doors which attracted us was the safety aspect, with the gusset which stops fingers being trapped between the panels. I think that the strength of the magnet to hold the door back needs to be looked at or some other safety feature incorporated. Apart from this concern, we have found the doors to be excellent in every other way.
