I have just come back from a great trip to northern Norway with my 11-year old son, organised brilliantly by Katie Watson at Off the Map Travel. We had three nights in Tromso, and one in a Sami-style tent in the Lyngen Alps. Katie put together the itinerary for us, with tips and suggestions from her own personal experience - and she got everything right! Not only that, but she took a personal interest in how our trip was going, and contacted our guides in Norway before and during the trip to discuss the weather, my son's nut allergy, etc. We were very lucky to see the Northern Lights on three of our four nights - I guess that was mainly down to good luck with the weather and the sun's activity - but Katie definitely did everything possible in her power to make it a fantastic trip.
