This is very much a basic starter detector. Good for the price as it comes with a basic set of headphones and a small folding spade. Found it worked best on the beach but did not always pick up signals from precious metals. Tried it alongside a friend who had a more advanced detector and found it missed a few signals that his detector picked up straight away but then he did pay a lot more for his. Overall a good way to start this hobby without spending too much before you decide whether you are going to like it or not.
