I was looking for a new smaller amp for gigging, I decided on the Victory V30 The Countess Mk 2 to go with my Barefaced Reformer 1 x 12 cab. The price was the best I found whilst surfing the net, unfortunately the footswitch did not work properly, so the amp had to be returned. Also after trying the amp with 6L6 power valves they sounded very harsh compared to my Fender Supoersonic, so Music Street spoke to Victory & a replacement was sent with EL 34 power valves, I can't ask for any more than that & the change in output valves worked for me. I purchased the amp right on lockdown, so was unable to use it live, but as lockdown eased, we did several outside gigs & the new set up was brilliant.
