Our upstairs toilet had slowly started to repeatedly ‘ghost flush’. Turned out the flapper valve was not sealing properly. I think they harden with age. Following a Google search, found that Monsterplumb stocked them at a very competitive price, in stock and on quick delivery.
Ordered one which came in two days. Delivered by DPD within minutes of the advised delivery time, fitted it and in less than ten minutes the toilet was behaving itself again.
Very satisfactory outcome.
