My sandals were delivered quickly and although I loved them, the straps were far too long making them so loose over my toes I couldn't walk in them.
Returned to the shop and was told up to 10 working days for the refund. That's 2 weeks! Far too long. I took something else back to another store the same day and got that refund within 2 days.
After 8 working days I got an automated email confirming the refund and saying it could take another 3 to 5 days! Then I got a 'your item has been despatched' email for the original item, for which the tracking showed it had already been delivered, which it had. What was worrying was I had a pending transaction on my card which made me wonder if I was going to be charged again when I hadn't even got the original refund!
I wrote to customer services, what a surprise, 3 days for a reply. I rang my card provider who thought the transaction may be a refund but had to wait and see.
The refund did arrive the next day, 2 days after that I got a reply from customer services and an apology for the confusion.
I would say only buy shoes from one of the shops when you have tried them on and are sure you like them and they fit. I will never order online again as their customer service afterwards is appalling.
