Not possible to give less than 1 star but would if I could. Placed an order online for a door listed as in stock and delivered in 3-5 days, all good so far.
Received a call the next day to say it was unavailable, mildly annoying but perhaps understandable if it wasn't accompanied by the arrogance and damn right rudeness of the guy who called.
No apology given at all, no offer of an alternative, I had to ask about a refund he did not come forward with that information. I questioned why it was listed as in stock and available for 3-5 door delivery and why the order had been allowed to go through if there was no stock available. Again faced with blank indifference, no apology and a definite tone or sarcasm in his voice.
I asked whether there was a similar door and was told there was but there was a £50 (or there about) price difference. I asked whether it might be possible to bring the second door down to the original price I paid considering the inconvenience and error on their part and got a blank no.
When I asked whether there might be someone more senior I could talk to about that he said thats me theres no one else to talk to. I asked his name and position and he said he was Adam Thompson the CEO of the company. I questioned this and asked if he was the owner of the company and he said yes.
If this is indeed the case then I have serious concerns about the direction Mr Thompson is taking his company and the level of customer service he is setting for his staff. Call me cynical, but I somehow doubt he was who he says he was.
