The service at Michael Stewart Menswear should normally deserve an absolute “5-star plus” rating if only Brexit did not exist (I’m an EU customer): I could buy the piece of clothing I wanted for a long time at an excellent price; the order treatment, payment and delivery were flawless… but not fearless and with a little surprise : - I feared things would become very complicated should the size not be the right one. I could find the exact measurements of that Barbour jacket on a competitor website (not yours…) and confirm that the size I was ordering should be ok so I minimised the risk I was taking but was totally unsure about what would happen in terms of costs (VAT and other tax impacts) should I need an exchange… - even more so since the import tax/duty calculator that you provide online is unfortunately not correct: it says that only VAT will apply, but an additional import duty was applied - an additional 12% that I discovered once the parcel landed in my country and had to pay to get my parcel with no way out. This said, the experience remains positive - lead-time to delivery was short overall, I love my Barbour, and despite the little disagreements I’m prepared to be a repeat-buyer with Michael Stewart !
