Steve
Here is my review about the Business Analysis Practice course that I've attended last week. I've passed the course already so thank you for that. In terms of review, it really depends on what the objective of the course is, is it to deliver the right content and train candidates to pass the course or is it to train attendees to become real business analysts or is it both? The trainer was very good but I felt that he aimed to stick to the syllabus related to the exam, the trainer tried to answer questions that face attendees in real life but aimed not expand too much on them due to time and content restriction. The classroom set up and coffee/ teas and lunches were great. Here are few suggestions on how you can improve the course and get more candidates to book on it. - Perhaps clarify on your website that the main aim is to prepare candidates to pass the course with limited expansion on real world business analysis cases or - Build additional examples within the existing course material to ensure that real world cases are covered and are treated differently than the BCS theoretical methodologies. - Advise candidates on relevant topics they have to revise before the exam and briefly go through the sample question paper in day 1 as opposed to leaving it to day 3 so candidates are better prepared. Quick review on day 1 and mock up exam on day 3.
