I have shopped at Maxwells for decades and always great service and they cut your wood too. Spent thousands at birtley store.
However, went the other day as needed a small kitchen cupboard door cutting down and got told the CEO has stopped it. Needless to say I have never been back and have taken my business elsewhere.
He obviously does not realise, it was very good for customer relations and two they charged per cut, so was even making money out of it. Very disappointed
