I think the Marloe Watch Company itself is exemplary, and the 2 out of the 3 watches I've purchased over the years have hit the mark in terms of design aesthetics, attention to detail, and craftsmanship. My most recent purchase, however, missed the mark on the design aspect, and if asked, I would rate the Astro at a 4.0 out of 5.0. I appreciate that much thought and effort goes into every single watch Marloe has released since the company's founding, but, in my opinion, one design choice on the Astro missed the mark. I think the choice of a 20mm lug takes away from an otherwise perfectly proportioned and designed watch, and gives suggests it is larger than it actually is. I would have prefered a 22mm or even a 24mm strap on the top, tapered down, perhaps to a 20mm, at the buckle. A minor quibble, all in all, and perhaps a design necessity in light of manufacturing constraints. Please keep up the great work.
