Lyco is the worst company I have ever come across when it comes to refunds. I ordered a dusk till dawn light for my porch. I've always had one there and it's always worked perfectly well. Unfortunately, this Eterna light had issues from the start.
The small terminal had a blockage that made it impossible to push the wire in and tighten the screw, so I had to buy another one.
Once darkness arrived the light came on but then seconds later it went back off, then it came back on and then went off. It continued to do this so eventually, I had to turn the light off from the switch. I tried again later but the same thing happened.
The following day I rang Lyco to ask for a refund. I spoke to a very unhelpful woman called Joy. Apparently I couldn't have a refund because I had installed the light, she said " You shouldn't have drilled holes in the back of the light fitting " ( even though the installation guide tells you to do so )
Stupid women, how else are you supposed to fit a ceiling light to the ceiling !!!
