I was looking for a surveyor to produce an asbestos report. Details of 5 surveyors came up, with price estimates from £200 to £240 including VAT, which seemed reasonable.
However, when individual email responses were received form survey companies, the prices ranged from £265 to £350, without even knowing any details fo the property! I'm afraid this put me off proceeding any further.
