I selected Marcel Blum, an architect who does building surveys, rather than a building surveyor from the Local Building Surveyor list and was absolutely delighted by the thoroughness of Marcel's report, his accessibility and willingness to discuss survey findings post survey and also the opportunity to discuss possible building alterations with someone who thinks in 3D. Marcel, who has a wealth of experience to draw upon, even went as far as doing some rough sketches of possible changes to the building for us at no extra cost.
