Does what it says on the box. Tried numerous soaps and shampoos from very expensive to the least expensive. They all contained harmful chemicals which damage the skin. This is the first soap and shampoo that appears to be gentle on the skin. Noticed that my scalp does not itch the next day like it did with various shampoos. Highly recommend these products.
