The first lamp I received was faulty - it worked during daylight hours !
It was quickly replaced with one which worked perfectly.
I like the design of the lamp - it looks really neat and illuminates a good area in front of my door.
When I fitted it, I inserted a small piece of black felt, with a thin slit, in front of the PIR, to reduce the detection area.
I think the manufacturers could incorporate something like this to control detection.
