The course was very good and at times very demanding, but gave me great satisfaction on its successfull completion. The downside being that it appears that in the weeks since I qualified, the positions available for teaching without a degree globally are very few and far between, that is if they exist at all. So although I take the course as a personal advancement, I do not see that, without a degree, a TEFL certification on its own opens any doors to a position in the teaching profession.
