I bought 2 underseat cases for my upcoming Easyjet flights to Tenerife, much to my husbands disgust as we have a loft full of luggage! He soon changed his mind!!!! When we arrived at the gate to board 90% of passengers were asked to place their bag in the cabin bag sizer. The majority of bags were too large for Easyjet's strict underseat size of 45x36x20 and the passengers had to pay to take their bag on board. our cases were looked at but not questioned and we boarded without problem.
