Latest order for Epson printer XP-435 were a pain to load initially, ( it did warn me on the paperwork that came with the order ) I have never had this problem with cartridges for other printers, but I imagine it is more to do with EPSON trying to prevent using anything other than their own high priced products. PS The print quality was OK when I actually managed to successfully install the cartridges.
