The Tour Guide, Dr. Edward (Shepherd) ( I did not catch his last name) was simply phenomenal. He was engaging, completely tuned in to the history of Stonehenge, and well-organized at all three stops. He helped make the trip an exceptional experience. The bus was in superb condition and the driver was professional in all aspects of his chore. I do, however, have a recommendation to make. The time allotted at all three stops was too limited. More time at Stonehenge would have permitted us to spend time in the exhibit and theatre hall. The 90 minutes available in Bath was not enough time for people to visit the Bath Museum. I completed the Cotswold Way Walk 4 weeks prior ending in Bath for 2 nights. I spent over 2 hours in that museum and did not take more time to see everything on display. Then there still is the Bath Abbey to see. As for Windsor Castle, we arrived in time to be advised that we should hurry to St. Georges Chapel as it was closing in 30 minutes. Following that, there were time-staged closures for the balance of the Castle, not leaving much time to appreciate the items described in the provided audio self-guide. I suggest that Bath be left off the tour, less drive time, more exploration time at the other two sites, length of tour could be shortened, less fuel, less bus rental and a more satisfying customer experience. Bath visit could be swapped in for another site every other week allowing time for a proper experience there.
