I really enjoyed the time I spent working on the Level 5 180h course, it was fun and challenging. The course has a very good layout with plenty of important information one needs to be an effective TEFL teacher with a fundamental understanding on how to manage your class and provide a high quality level of teaching. The staff are very friendly, helpful and know what they are doing! The course outlines all the fundamental information you will need to be able to teach students from young ages and help them succeed in learning English as a secondary language. It has comprehensive information on what is expected from you as a TEFL teacher and highlights a wide variety of methods and activities that you can use for a range of different types of lessons. It has useful information for anticipating and solving difficulties associated with teaching younger students, as well as older students, and focuses on creating a safe learning environment that students will feel comfortable in. It will also help you with implementing your ideas into your lesson in a way that is fun, challenging and fair for students. The assessment criteria for the assignments have a high set of standards but are very fair regarding what is required of the learner to achieve their necessary aims. The feedback was very constructive and detailed. It highlighted all of my shortcomings and was well presented with well structured advice on how to achieve my goals, and was especially helpful in improving on my ability to plan a lesson properly. I truly appreciate the work and effort that my Tutor put into my assessments, as it gave me a clear vision of my level of understanding and it helped me build the confidence I need towards becoming a TEFL teacher. Without a doubt this course will help you along your journey to becoming a fully certified TEFL teacher and achieving your dreams!
