These mattress protectors are expensive but well worth the money. I have bought 6 for each of my granddaughters going into their cot at 6 months old safe in the knowledge that the product is breathable and won’t stop the breathability of the expensive cot mattress. They are soft and don’t feel like a normal plastic waterproof sheet. The main thing to remember is don’t use fabric conditioner when washing.
