After our butcher in North London closed down a couple of years ago - from whom we had always had an excellent turkey at Christmas - I have been looking for a worthy replacement. I came across Herb Fed and decided to give them a go. I have not regretted it. There was a good range of weights of turkey available, the ordering process was straightforward and delivery was efficient. Pricing also compared favourably with other options. It was also good to get a reassuring e-mail about a couple of weeks ahead of delivery to say that all was going to plan. The turkey was moist and succulent and tasted delicious. One small caveat - although the taste and flavour weren't affected, it was one of the most poorly plucked birds I have ever had and I had to spend a bit of time with the tweezers getting rid of the worst of the remaining quills! However, I will certainly be considering ordering from Herb Fed again next year.
