4 years into owning a Panasonic Plasma I finally gave in and had it calibrated by Vincent Teoh. I put it off because I was thinking the difference could be subtle at best and I would have blown £300! Well that's 4 years of my life I can't get back and boy do I regret it. Vincent is fantastic, a total perfectionist and the difference in image quality is nothing short of amazing. Everything about the image is better including sharpness, black depth, colour, contrast is now so good that the image has a more pronounced 3D appearance and the colours just pop out of the screen. I now realise that to buy a quality panel and not have it professionally calibrated is utter madness. Vincent is the king of calibrators, his understanding of the subject is second to none. He takes plenty of time to explain what he is doing so it ends up being a really enjoyable experience. I have spent many thousands of pounds on home cinema kit over the last 20 years but I can honestly say that paying Vincent was the best value I have ever had. My advice is don't even hesitate just contact the guy and beg him to come and sort your TV out. You will never regret it. Even my wife agrees and that's saying something. Vincent has also saved me several thousand pounds as I am no longer interested in buying a 4k OLED, well not for quite a while anyway.
