I have had my Samsung UE55D8000YUXXU for a few years and have never been quite satisfied with the picture but have never been able to improve it to my liking by tinkering with the settings. I had heard about software callibtration but there doesn't seem to be many people that provide that service. I found HDTVtest on the internet whilst researching TVs and decided to try them out. I have been very satisfied with my TV picture since it was calibrated by Vincent at HDTVtest. Vincent was very professional and enthusiastic and was keen to explain and demonstrate the changes he had made. He provided me with two lots of calibrated settings, one best suited for daytime viewing and one for night time. You definitely need the two different calibrations and I have been using them both with excellent results. He also provided me with a document detailing the settings. I will definitely use them again when I do purchase a new TV in the future.
