The flowers I ordered were supposed to be delivered the next day. It was entirely my fault that I didn't read the delivery information properly so I didn't realise the flowers would be sent by Royal Mail, rather than delivered by the florist. Even though the delivery charges on the order page said they were for next day delivery, the flowers were not delivered until the second day. The company I ordered the flowers through did confirm that the bouquet was packed with an aqua pack/liquid gel, but there is still a second day where the flowers reduce in freshness so they won't last as long once delivered. I think I will probably contact a local florist who can deliver directly next time.
