Very happy with my purchase even if I did have to make two purchases. I do have wide feet and although the size 40 was fine length ways it was too narrow for my right foot (bunion!). The 41 is a much better fit but with thicker socks on it is marginally tight. However all that said they are very comfortable and after a dog walk in longish wet grass my feet remained dry. In extremely wet weather however I would opt for my leather walking boots. These are perfect for my requirements.
