The actual boiler is working fine but the bits and pieces that went with it have still to be resolved. We had to wait before an electrician came to fit extra sockets,which was only speeded up because I wrote a bad review. Now we are still waiting for a collar to be fitted because the installer left a gaping hole in the wardrobe and didn’t think it would look better covered up. So it dragged on couldn’t find the part and different people at your customer services department left to try and sort it out. Finally a part was found to hopefully resolve the matter,but then they had to try and find an engineer to visit. Stupidly I thought you had the part and would get it to the engineer before he came. How silly was I to think things would be straight forward. The engineer was suppose to come last Thursday but had some medical issue,I was promised he would come the following day. He phoned me during the day and said he would come late afternoon around 6pm. When he finally said he was coming I asked him if he had the part,which he said no, I think he was going to use whatever he had in his van . He asked if i could send a photo of the hole,which I did. He said he wouldn’t have left the hole like that if he had installed the boiler. He said he had nothing in the van but would check with Screwfix if the part was available. It is now after 7pm,he said they had the part so would go and buy it. When he gets to Screwfix they can’t find the part,so the engineer says he obviously can’t come.!!! So come today I’m not in a good mood having wasted hours of my life trying to get a simple matter resolved. So I phone customer services at about 9am this morning knowing no one would phone me.As usual put through to someone else in the installation team and he can’t seem to understand why I’m annoyed. Probably hasn’t reached an age yet where he’s had to deal with relentless call centres and customer services. He said he would look into the matter. Obviously it’s now 17 20 and no one has bothered to phone back out of courtesy,whatever that is now a day’s,to give me an update. Anyone’s guess when the matter will be resolved,will probably go down the bookies to see what odds I can get. Someone pull their finger out please
