On the scheduled day, the technician, who was meant to arrive between 8 and 1 pm, called at 1:15 pm, announcing a delay of an additional 1 hour and 45 minutes. When questioned about the lack of earlier notification, he provided a random excuse and eventually arrived two hours later. Upon entering my flat, he inspected the machine cursorily, inserted his finger, and sat down on the floor with his tablet. He proceeded to list the following prices: £250 for a new drum, £81 for a new door seal, and £72 for another component whose name escapes me. Furthermore, he claimed I needed a new heating device, bringing the total cost to over £750. Astonished, I expressed my reservations, prompting him to suggest purchasing a new machine from Glotech at a supposedly discounted rate, with a £25 deduction from today's charge. Skeptical, I insisted on seeking a second opinion. His response was hostility, insisting on collecting payment before leaving. I informed him that this was not part of the agreed-upon deal and that I would need to contact the office.
