Legal and General tell me my pension has been devalued by 2 thirds, through being transferred in and out of Serps. Back in 1982 , I've shown them prove from a letter from 1999 that proves the pension wasn't devalued through the Serps. Still someone called James Hill from legal and general, tells me over a telephone conversation, that my MP has told him who is involved in trying to get this sorted out, that HMRC as told her Iam not entitled to anything and he was very happy to hear this. I've spoken to HMRC and they have said the pension hasn't been devalued through Serps and they don't get involved with private pensions. I find James Hill attitude very disturbing and it has caused me a lot of stress, what sort of a advertisement is this for legal and General, you can put your money in but get nothing in return??
