I've been with Hastings a few years now, contrary to the "it always works out cheaper to switch than renew" Hastings have beaten any quote I've had each year to drive down my renewal costs whilst protecting the features I want to include on my plan. I have unfortunately had to claim on my insurance twice over the course of the last 12 months and they have been phenomenal in getting my car fixed and back to me as soon as possible. On the second occasion I was hit by another car whilst driving and the other driver had been quite aggressively stating that I was at fault when I believed I wasn't. The team at Hastings were quick to reassure me that I wasn't at fault and that they would in no way be seeking me to be at fault for the incident, it happened on a Sunday evening and my car was already booked in for a repair before 9am on the Monday morning. Every time I have had a query or an issue, whether I have spoken to someone on chat or over the phone the service is impeccable, the team are courteous, polite and really easy to talk to. Unfortunately my claim tripped over my renewal date so I couldn't get a renewal price so had to go elsewhere but I absolutely will be looking to go back to Hastings at my next renewal.
