Hired a Fiat 500 from Gatwick Car Hire and returned it without any damage and with what we thought was the same amount of fuel. However, they did not flag any discrepancies up in the fuel at the time,yet refunded our deposit a week later less £38.50: they fine you without telling you and of course you have no opportunity to discuss it. They did not respond to emails relating to the discrepancy and only admitted what they did when we phoned them and put them on the spot. I feel that this was unfair and disingenuous behaviour on their part - if they felt that there was a discrepancy they should have discussed it with us, and also charging £38.50 for - allegedly - a small difference in the fuel levels is indefensible and sharp practice. I suggest that anyone reading this review think very carefully before hiring vehicles from them.
