I have just finished the 18day thai adventure tour and all I can say is WOW. Do not hesitate and just book, it is an adventure of a life time. The itnerary for the trip was brilliant, Chiang Mai I enjoyed a lot due to the elephant farm and the hill trek ( I advise the hill trek is very tough, especially in April 37 degree heat with hardly any shade for the second half of the 3 hour trek) but you do feel a sense of achievement when you got to the top. You do stop off for lunch at a water fall on the way which was amazing and the end result is in the middle of no where staying in a huge tree house for the night. Chiang Mai as a city is brilliant. We were there for the thai new year which was just something else!! the trip offers a range of places to visit and each place is complelty different. the acommodation was great considering I was expecting the worst hostels sharing rooms with 10 people in bunk beds and bugs crawling everywhere- which was not the case at all. Sharing a room with one or two people from your tour in nice clean spacious rooms I could not have faulted it in any way possible. you meet so many new people who are either in their gap years or just taking a break from their jobs from so many different back grounds and exploring Thailand together was great. I could not fault this trip one bit, the transportation to an from each destination was great, we only had one 10 he overnight coach journey again (the comfiest coach I’ve ever been on) and the rest were short 1 hour flights all included within the tour. I am currently finishing my trip with a week travelling around the islands by my self again before heading home. This really was a trip of a lifetime :) x
