I went to Ghana for 3 weeks volunteering in child care. This meant I spent the morning at a school and the afternoon at the orphanage which was walking distance. I had the best time and this was my first time travelling completely alone. I was met at the airport and made so many good friends which just made my experience that much better, including Aimee who works for gap360! The first weekend we went to a trip at Cape Coast, which was just eye opening. I don't think I've ever experienced such a friendly culture. Everyone is lovely and helpful and I felt so safe. I would recommend this trip to absolutely anyone and would encourage them to make the most of every second and sign up to everything. My accommodation and the food was just amazing, I would love to return!
