I recently switched my energy supplier via Free Price Compare. It was fairly easy to compare prices using the website, and it seemed to include more results (even the Energy Helpline Collective Switch plan) than others, as it claimed. However, I did not receive any confirmation e-mails, or updates regarding my switch, so I had no idea whether my switch was in progress or not. I e-mailed them a week later asking about the status, but did not hear back. Two weeks later I received an e-mail from my new supplier confirming the start of my new plan. What a surprise! I therefore think the experience from Free Price Compare was merely acceptable.
